Announcement Concerning the 2012 Chehalis Events at The Farm

The "Sacred Cow Race Co." will not be involved in the Chehalis Classic national trial and mx on August 11 & 12, 2012 at the Farm, with the exception of track layout and watering.  For information or questions about this event please contact Wayne Gray at 360-748-1953.

However, the "Sacred Cow Race Co." will put on the Premier/Classic Weekend on September 15 & 16, 2012, including the "dinner in the barn".  For information please contact Jim Cole 360-262-3417, Ed Parsons 360-864-4834, Randy Skiver 425-330-2054, Marv Tryon 360-295-3874, or Dana Salsman 360-751-6652.

Eric Matthews who took the ambulance ride to the hospital on Sunday on a backboard is OK.  He was back at the track Sunday night, pretty sore and drugged up pretty good, and then he took some meds for his crash.

*Pre-entering is cheaper, less work on race weekend, and photo guy can ID you from the pre-entry list.  It also can only help things move along smoother when there is a new and inexperienced crew running things as there was this year.  If everybody had pre-entered the original race order would not have changed. Guys, do yourself a favor, Pre-Enter the National!!!  If you can't ride you notify AHRMA and get your entry fee refunded, simple as that.

Saturday Stuff and Trials

After riding the trial, I caught the last official rider thru section 8, (no cleans on this one all day I was told)

The last rider thru Section 7 (Only sections 7 & 8 were in the farm yard this year, 1 thru 6 were out on a 2 1/2 mile loop)

After the trial was over some
went back to re-try Section 8

Looking at the exit of Seciton 8, the white dots are the 2 line.  That dry grass was super slick.

A big thanks to Trials Marshal Chris Allen. Chris told us that he made the trial harder this year for Jay Lael, but Jay did not show up, (Thanks a lot Jay!)
